Individual Registration

By completing the information below, and registering with your credit card payment, you will be individually registered. ONCE YOU REGISTER, DO NOT FIND A TEAM ON YOUR OWN; your registration here will place you on a Free Agent Team and staff depends on you to ensure the appropriate numbers required to start a new team! FAS charges your credit card at the time of registration. In the event you are not placed on a team or you withdraw more than 4 weeks prior to your IR teams first game, FAS will refund your full registration fee. Players rescinding within 4 weeks and later of their IR teams first game, forfeit their entire IR fees to the FAS general fund. When registering, you agree to this FAS refund policy.

Your registration fee covers your season: ASA umpires to officiate all games; two dozen softballs per team (2 dz for men and 1-11" and 1-12" for coed); season awards, and your team's Fairfax Adult Softball (FAS), Amateur Softball Association (ASA) and Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) fees. An additional $30 CRS non-county fee will be added at the time of your registration if you are a non-military player who does not reside in Fairfax County.

Once 14 individuals register for a specific day and league, and at least one person is willing to manage, they will be placed together on a team. FAS will contact all the team's participants and share their contact information with the manager. At that point, it will become the manager's responsibility to run the team. FAS Staff will always be available to address any league or program concerns; any concerns arising from the management of the team or individuals therein will need to be addressed by the team. If enough players do not register to comprise a full team, players will be placed on existing teams needing players.

Please note, every FAS participant must be 18 years or older before December 31 of the year they are playing. All registered FAS participants must understand that softball is an athletic sport and playing softball can result in injury.
