All softballs used in FAS play must be optic yellow; all Men's softballs must be Dudley Thunder Hycon.

2024 Available Leagues & Fees

Spring Leagues:

Spring Church
This league is for men and women. Majority of games are played at Braddock Park, Poplar Tree park and by request in the Reston area. All participants must be active attendees or members of the church by March 1st of the current year. League plays on Tuesdays. No requirement for minimum or maximum number of females or males for any game provided a legal team is fielded. Women are permitted to play; however, it rarely occurs.

Spring Coed
(6 v 4) The league is for men and women. Play is designed to use 6 men and 4 women in the lineup and on the field at all times. Nights of play are Sunday day, Sunday night, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Each night has divisions ranging from competitive to less competitive play

Spring Corporate Coed
The league is for men and women and all players on the roster must be employees of the same company. A minimum of three women are required in the lineup and on the field at all times. No requirement for alternating of sexes in the batting order. Nights of play are Monday and Wednesday.

Spring Fellowship Church League
Coed Church League playing on Thursday nights at Wakefield Park. League uses some unique rules that only apply to this league. League plays 14 regular season games and then ends with a playoff tournament in which all teams participate.

This league is designated for men who live in the Little Rocky Run community.

Spring Men
The league is for men only. Men's play can be broadly classified as Excellent to Fair. The very competitive teams are placed in the upper divisions. Nights of play are Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The most competitive and skilled teams should select to play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. The less competitive teams can select any night, because each night has many divisions and locations allowing the less competitive teams to be placed in a division to accommodate their skill level.

Spring Men 40 and over
This league is for men only. League is for players turning 40 years of age by December 31st of the present calendar year. Games will be played on Tuesday nights.

Spring Seniors
The league is for men and women. Men must be at least 50 years of age by December 31 of the current year and women must be at least 40 years of age by December 31 of the current year. This league is played May through August. Nights of play are Mondays. Unlimited courtesy runners per half inning.

Spring Social Coed
This league is for men and women. Designed for fun, instructional play for new and less skilled teams. A minimum of three women are required in the lineup and on the field at all times. The offensive team will bat until either 3 outs are made or has scored 5 runs; whichever occurs first. The last inning of play will be an unlimited run inning. Nights of play are Mondays and Wednesdays.

Spring Women
The league is for women only. Nights of play are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Level of play is classified as fair to excellent.

Spring Womens Modified Fast Pitch
This league is designated for women only. Games will be played at Wakefield Park on Sunday afternoons. Pitching style is slingshot faster pitch than standard slow pitch leagues. Games are 90 minutes long.

Early Summer Women Fast Pitch
The league is for women only. Nights of play are Mondays. Season includes double elimination playoff tournament for all teams.

This league is for men and women. In the past, we have had Church leagues play all games on fields located in Reston and Herndon. However, we are expanding the Church program and will offer it across the county. All participants must be active attendees or members of the church by March 1st of the current year.
